Collectors Convention, 2007; Champagne Reception on Friday evening:
Friday night Reception:
Barbara Luna took care of all the table and room decorations and it
was all gorgeous! Keeping with the
Las Vegas glitzy theme, these hearts, spades, diamonds and clubs foil trees
were decorated with kitty cat stickers and placed in a metal kitty bowl,
which was the centerpiece of each of the tables at the Friday night
reception. The buffet and beverage
tables were decorated with black metal cat candleholders and battery operated
votive lights. Attendees who took
these decorations home included: Who traveled furthest (Heidi and Monika
from Austria), Who has been in Cat Collectors the longest (a tie between
Meg Wilson and Deborah Pollack, CA); Who has attended the most Cat Collector
Conventions (Judy Lango, WI), Who has the most
live cats at home (Christy Santoro, NV with a total of 40 cats at
home!!). Each person also received a
pair of dice with black cats on them.
